More than 30 years ago, Kwan Jang Nim Cariati started teaching 3 students in the basement of his house. This would lead Kwan Jang Nim Cariati to open Woodbridge Taekwon-Do and 30 years later, Woodbridge Taekwon-Do is one of the most successful martial arts school in Ontario. Kwan Jang Nim Cariati would like to extend his sincere thanks to all the students, parents and instructors that have helped and supported him over the past 30 years.

I wish to congratulate you once again on celebrating 30 years of teaching. This is no simple task for anyone to do. It requires passion, heart, determination and a love for the sport. When I looked around the room I was impressed with the amount of students you have touched and the friendships you have made. I was in awe. You truly have touched the lives and souls of many people.
Everyone that I could see had a great time and the banquet was a success! I know you would have preferred to be surrounded with more students, but life sometimes gets in the way of people. Just know, the important ones were there for you---family.
My highlight as always was the power breaking. It shows how much your students have grown since last year. Your direction and understanding of what can be achieved is right on. As a coach you inspire your students to do more, to reach in for their hidden strengths and reach for the stars. The guest were equally impressed and in some way, I am sure they wish that they can do what their sons and daughters are doing.
For myself I was pleased in my performance, but I find myself thinking about my partner (Rino). He had so much heart and courage, but was unsuccessful. He has grown as a student and I was proud of his composure. He showed real self control. I will work with him and ensure that the concrete slab demons are conquered!
Sincerely,
Phil Cicchirillo
