A SPECIAL THANK YOU TO MASTER CARIATI

Hello Master Cariati,

First I wish to begin by saying thank you.

Second, I am on such a high that all my pre testing nerves have faded and melted away. The testing was exciting and quick. Anyone who trains regularly will not have a problem.

My most enjoyable moments were the power breaking. The pictures that Anna has taken are outstanding. Testimonials to what was performed and achieved. I look forward developing the pictures and keep in a scrap book for posterity.

Your confidence in me and other students gives us the will to try. I did not believe that I could break the concrete block, let alone two of them, but I trusted your judgment. There was little hesitation in me trying to be the first in the team to try. When the blocks shattered I knew that something special has occurred. That is, I am no longer the same person.

I have begun a journey started many years ago and have surpassed hurdles of doubt and inexperience. I truly feel that I can walk with my head high and face the world with confidence. Though a Red belt represents danger, today I know I am dangerous!

Following the 5 oaths and tenets now bring more meaning and significance. I have changed and you have helped me change. I have morph into something new. A student of Taekwon-do that continue to strive and help others.

If I can do this at 54 years of age what can others do that are younger. I am excited to speak with any mature prospects and parents that are complementing joining. I feel I can encourage to get off the chair and participate in Taekwon-do, rather than being a spectator.

In closing, you should consider your students write a second essay after the testing. As I know they will feel a lot different when they started. Thank you and have a safe trip and I will definitely see you Monday.

Best regards,

Phil Cicchirillo, 1 st degree
